Book & Author Events

A series of in-person conversations with authors about their recent books, current projects and related cultural debates. These are held in the intimate salon space at Bards Apothecary, with our bookseller, Paperback Books.

VCE Roadshow Events

A free annual program of regional history days for Victorian students of history in Years 11 and 12 with visiting guest historians.

Making Public History Events

A series of online panel-style discussions with expert historians on topical themes. These are presented with support from the Old Treasury Building, the Monash University History program and Monash University Publishing.

Annual Lecture Events

An annual showcase featuring a leading historian on a topic of pressing importance and wide interest, and announcing recipients of our major prizes. The Annual Lecture is offered with support from the State Library of Victoria.

An annual event for history students and graduates highlighting employment pathways for those with history degrees. This event is held at the Public Records Office Victoria.
