Speakers announced for the 2026 History Council of Victoria VCE History Roadshow

 

The History Council of Victoria VCE Roadshow has taken place in one form or another since the 1970s, and this August we expand the program to three regional locations to bring a tailored program of presentations to VCE history students across Victoria. 

The day-long seminar features presentations from some of Australia’s most eminent historians, and is designed to enrich students’ learning in preparation for end of year exams. The presentations will cover year and 11 and 12 units including Australian History, the French Revolution, the Chinese Revolution, and Ancient History. In 2026 we will be visiting Warrnambool (14 August), Shepparton (21 August) and Traralgon (28 August). 

We reach hundreds of students and teachers each year to foster a love of history in high-school students and support their successful VCE studies.
